Terms & Conditions

(By confirming the booking the client agrees to adhere to the terms and conditions, bookings are confirmed on receipt of the invoice)  

 

  • The client consents to the travelling critter sitter having access to their property to care for their pets as requested.
  • No liability can be attached to the travelling critter sitter if a third party shares access to the clients property.
  • Keys to the property must be given no later than 3 days prior to the booking start date, unless other arrangements have been pre arranged with the travelling critter sitter. For example a key lock box, in this case the code should be provided no later than 3 days prior.
  • The client consents to the travelling critter sitter to act as guardian for their pets and authorises veterinary care to treat their pets in the case of illness or injury.
  • In the case of an emergency the client will be contacted first, if unsuccessful the travelling critter sitter will notify the emergency contact.
  • The travelling critter sitter will not be liable for any theft of the client’s pets.
  • The travelling critter sitter will not be liable to any damages to the property unless we are shown to be negligent.
  • The travelling critter sitter will not be liable for any damages caused to the property by the client’s pets.
  • The travelling critter sitter will not ne held liable for any injuries or illness to the clients pets unless we can be shown to be negligent.
  • The travelling critter sitter may arrive earlier or later than arranged depending on traffic.
  • The travelling critter sitter will always stay the full duration of the sit, unless otherwise arranged by the client.
  • By answering yes to the media question on the customer form the client consents that any photos taken of their pets can be used by the travelling critter sitter on their social media pages (only the pets name will be used and no other personal details will be shared)
  • The client agrees to pay all fees owed within 2 days of return from vacation
  • Bookings of 7 days or more will require a full payment on receipt of the invoice (we are a small business and simply cannot afford to loose out on revenue)
  • Any cancellations made from the time of the booking (receipt of invoice) will result in the following payments owed:
    • 28+ days notice 0% of the invoice total
    • 14 – 27 days notice 25 % of the invoice total
    • 7 – 13 days notice 50% of the invoice total
    • Less than 6 days notice 100% of the invoice total
